 Available Payment Kiosk Locations                                         

SEC has a few payment kiosks within our service area to allow members to make a payment on their account(s).  Members can pay their bill with a credit/debit card (no fee to use) or by using cash (a $1.50 fee per transaction is applied).  If a member pays with cash, the kiosk does not give change back.  However, any different after the fee has been applied will go towards your SEC account.

  • Alamo Chapter House, located at the Alamo Reservation in Alamo, New Mexico. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Village of Magdalena Main Office, located at 108 N. Main Street in Magdalena, New Mexico. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am. to 5:00 p.m. Please note, office is closed for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Who We Are

Socorro Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SEC) was organized on March 3rd, 1945, as a cooperative non-profit membership corporation and received approval from the United States Federal Government Program Rural Electrification Administration the same year to improve the quality of life for rural New Mexicans living within the service area.  As a member-owned electric cooperative, it is governed by a Board of Trustees of SEC members, who the members elect.  Today the SEC service area covers over 10,000 square miles with over 3,300 miles of powerlines serving approximately 8,600 SEC member-owners.
